Participation terms & liability waiver

Attendance and workshop participation
By registering, you willingly undertake to attend the workshop completely and to follow the participation guidelines provided by Yog Jeevanam. Yog Jeevanam may pause, modify, or decline instruction where participation, conduct, or health information makes this necessary for safety.
Health and personal responsibility
You understand that this workshop includes physical yoga practices and meditative processes. It is not medical or mental health care, and it does not guarantee a particular outcome. Before participating, you are responsible for seeking advice from an appropriate qualified health care professional where needed and for following that advice.
You confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You agree to stop or modify participation if you feel unsafe, unwell, injured, or unable to continue safely, and to notify the teacher of any relevant change in your health.
Assumption of risk and release
You understand that yoga and related activities involve inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury or an aggravation of an existing physical, mental, or emotional condition. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you accept those risks and take responsibility for your participation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you release and indemnify Yog Jeevanam, Sheena Aggarwal, and their instructors, presenters, organizers, volunteers, and contractors from claims, demands, losses, or expenses arising from your participation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Confidentiality and recordings
Workshop content is shared for your personal participation. You will not communicate, teach, reproduce, or distribute the contents of the workshop directly or indirectly to others. You will not make audio recordings, photographs, or video recordings during the workshop unless Yog Jeevanam gives prior permission.
Photography and video
Photo and video marketing consent is optional and requested separately on the registration form. If you opt in, Yog Jeevanam may use photographs or videos taken during the workshop to promote future workshops. You may withdraw this consent for future use by contacting Sheena.
Registration and payment
Registration creates a payment-pending hold. A place is confirmed only after the listed e-Transfer has been received and verified. Unless a workshop listing says otherwise, payment is due within 30 minutes and an unpaid hold may be released after that time.
Text messages
SMS consent is optional and is requested separately on the registration form. If you opt in, Yog Jeevanam may send automated reminders, workshop updates, and promotional SMS messages. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance. Message frequency may vary; standard message and data rates may apply.
Your agreement
By selecting the required agreement checkbox during registration, you confirm that you have read and agree to these participation terms and the privacy notice. For a participant under 18, the parent or legal guardian must complete and accept the agreement.
