Yog Jeevanam collects only the information needed to consider and administer your program registration, communicate with you, support safe participation, and meet related business obligations.

What we collect

Registration information may include your name, email address, phone number, address, age, gender, emergency contact details, program selection, registration reference, payment status, and messages you submit.

We also ask about prior Isha Yoga practices and current or past physical and mental health conditions, including relevant family history. For participants under 18, we collect parent or guardian contact information and their relationship to the participant. Separate optional choices record SMS and photo/video marketing consent.

Why we collect health information

Health information is collected for participant safety. If you share a health condition, it can help Yog Jeevanam adapt classes to your personal needs. This information is confidential. Where helpful, Yog Jeevanam may contact you to discuss your personal needs in more detail by phone.

How we use and protect information

Information is used to process registrations, communicate about the selected program, reconcile e-Transfer payments, provide participant support, and manage safety. Access is limited to the people who need it for these purposes. We use reasonable safeguards and do not use health information for marketing.

Retention, access, and choices

We retain registration and health information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, program administration, and legal or insurance needs. You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw optional SMS or photo/video consent, or ask questions about our handling of personal information by contacting Sheena. Withdrawing optional consent does not affect your program registration.
